Raising money for EOCA's work, a number of the association's members are running events both on and offline to support conservation!

We are delighted to announce that our spring project funding vote is now open. A shortlist of 12 projects from around the world are hoping to secure funding for their vital conservation work. You can help choose the next projects to receive EOCA funding by voting for your favourites now. Also in the newsletter, are details about our Earth Day Fundraiser on 22 April and a fascinating film about the damaging effects of microplastics.

As we near the end of 2022, we would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to our members, partners, projects, board members and Scientific Advisers. As the work of EOCA becomes increasingly more important, we are extremely grateful for their continued support of the conservation and protection of wildlife, landscapes and habitats. Together, we have achieved a tremendous amount.

For the third year running, we will be turning Black Friday GREEN! Our Green Friday Conservation Fundraiser begins today and continues throughout the weekend. Together, with a number of EOCA members, we will be raising funds to support vital conservation around the world, addressing the loss of biodiversity and the climate emergency. Some of our members will be generously donating a percentage of websites sales to EOCA, whilst others have donated fantastic outdoor gear to be sold via the Outdoor Gear For Good eBay shop.

Dear Friends We are delighted to announce that our autumn project vote is now open! With the help of our Scientific Advisors, we have chosen eight fantastic projects, all of which will carry out vital conservation work. Get voting now! Also in the newsletter are details about how you can join the call to action to help deliver a strong COP15 Global Biodiversity Framework to protect and restore nature. Plus, an update on the latest EOCA members and a thank you to our Sustaining Members. There is also news from one of our members, Sunday Afternoons, about its recently awarded Climate Neutral Certification.

Trade Shows Reopen, Earth Day Fundraiser and more! Following a very busy spring, an even busier summer is already underway! We have been able to choose our first 7 projects to fund in 2022 thanks to the online public vote and member votes, raise a significant amount of money through an Earth Day Fundraiser, and are just about to set off to Germany for our first tradeshow and face to face meetings in well over 2 years!

Dear Friends It’s that time of year again, when we are delighted to announce that our spring project vote is open! We received a record number of applications for funding, which, as usual, has made our job of selecting a shortlist difficult. However, with the help of our Scientific Advisors, we have chosen 14 fantastic projects, all of which will carry out vital conservation work. The voting opens today and will close in two weeks, on Wednesday 4th May. Get voting now and tell everyone you know to get involved in conservation and have their say!

As we reach the end of another year, we would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to our members, volunteers and projects for their continued support of EOCA and the work it does. In what has been, again, another year of uncertainty, together we have achieved a tremendous amount with conservation and protection of the great outdoors, its wildlife, landscapes and habitats remaining our primary focus.
