EOCA Online Conservation Fundraiser

THE MOST RECENT ONLINE FUNDRAISER was held over and around EARTH DAY on April 22nd.  The theme this year was PLANET vs PLASTIC, something that EOCA has done a lot of work on over the years, and continues to through a number of its projects. Please see below what actions our members took to help raise money for our work, supporting conservation.

Make a Difference. BE THE DIFFERENCE!

Thanks to the generosity of EOCA members, the association is delighted to bring you online fundraiser events during the year. A chance to buy the gear you need for your next adventure AND make a difference!

EOCA Online fundraisers will run each year in the days leading up to and around the specific events of Green (Black) Friday / Giving Tuesday (late November) and Earth Day (April 22) each year. Please keep an eye on this page and on our social media pages for updates!

EOCA’s work ensures that the projects it funds address climate change and the loss of biodiversity in landscapes around the world.

The companies involved will be raising funds in a number of ways. Please scroll down to read all the details as we receive them!  Some are hosting events on their own websites or at their headquarters, some are offering discounted goods or services, but all are raising money to support EOCA and its work to protect and restore our wonderful wild places!

Gear Tips

As part of the company’s commitment to promoting sustainable outdoor practices, Gear Tips is partnering with EOCA in an online fundraising campaign to celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd.

From April 15th to April 22nd, Gear Tips will donate 20% of the value of all subscriptions to the Gear Tips Club to EOCA. By participating in this campaign, our members can directly contribute to EOCA’s conservation efforts and help protect wild spaces around the world. Together, we can make a positive impact on the environment and ensure that the wonders of nature remain accessible to all who seek adventure.

Money raised from this event will go towards supporting the Preserve Muriqui project in Brazil. More details HERE.

The lovely people at Lorpen will be celebrating Earth Day this year from the 19th to the 22nd April by offering a 20% discount over the whole collection.  From the sales made over this long weekend, 20% will be donated to EOCA for its work, enabling conservation! Find out more HERE.

To celebrate the planet via Earth Day, the fabulous team at Mont Blanc Treks will be donating a portion of EVERY trip booked throughout the month of April to EOCA! Please see more details HERE. Most of MBT’s treks are based in Europe and its founder, Sara Wild, often goes hiking in Scotland, so raising money to support the An Teallach in Scotland project is close to their hearts, helping to safeguard the natural environment that we all cherish so much

Mont Blanc Treks Ltd is run by a small, dedicated team of like-minded people whose local knowledge and passion for the mountains inspires them to offer a more personalised service for all their walking holidays.  Offering guided or self-guided trekking itineraries across the European Alps, including full or half stage classic walking tours, customers can challenge themselves and achieve their goals.

Osprey Europe Ltd

The team at Osprey enjoys being outdoors. Whether they are out on the trail or in a forest, paddling downstream or cheering on their favourite sports team, there is a certain feeling of freedom out there. And while it’s in their nature to be outdoors, they also remember that it is their responsibility to protect and conserve it.

From 19th to 22nd April, the brand has committed to donate 20% of profits from every purchase of the new Talon™ Earth and Daylite™ Plus Earth, as well as 10% of profits from any other product sold on their website, to directly support EOCA and its conservation work.
