Pinewood manufactures clothes and gear that make the outdoor life safe, comfortable and simple. In the forest, by the lake or on the mountain – with a dog, hiking poles, fishing rod or at a hunting stand.
Since we live in the midst of all users, we know what works and what doesn’t. All research and development is local with our own team in Värnamo – and this is where the foundation of each season is created, in the shape of determined collaboration and with one question: can we make it even better? Proven classics are developed alongside new innovations, shapes, solutions, materials and collections that will make outdoor life even more accessible – while at the same time caring for the climate. With Pinewood, you can focus on the experience, regardless season or weather.

Why we are involved with EOCA?
Our mission is to create good clothing and gear so that more people can enjoy an active outdoor life, that contributes to improved well-being. With our roots in the woods, we are aware of the responsibility toward the climate that comes with running a global apparel brand. It is important to us, to take responsibility and to give back to the environment.
What else do we do to support conservation?
We are a member of the Amfori BSCI and the Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation.
Pinewood strives toward lowering our environmental impact through an increasing share of sustainable materials, and by also gradually improving quality we secure better longevity in all products.
We have chosen to base our products upon a design and a colour scale that last for a long time, we don´t want to contribute to fast fashion but instead ensure longevity.
Our best green product and why?
Pinewood Outdoor Trekker T-shirt is made of 100 % recycled, waste materials from the textile industry. No new dying process is needed, the fabric gets its colour according to the recycled waste, which means we save a lot of water and energy in the process.
In the production of this fabric 99 % less water is used, and 50 % fewer CO2 emissions generated, than similar products made of virgin materials.This is one step for us at Pinewood trying to change how we affect the nature, for next generation.
