How did you become involved with EOCA: EOCA is hard to miss when you work on the outdoor industry. The incredible conservation work they have done over the years is outstanding and I wanted to support this in any way I can.
Number of years in the outdoor industry: Since 2016.
What else do you promote to support conservation: My work as sustainability specialist is driven by a deep passion to challenge the believe that prosperity has to come at the cost of overshooting our planetary boundaries. I do not fly for my holiday and follow mainly a plant-based diet (focused on local, seasonal and organically grown food). I try to consume as little as possible and choose second hand whenever I can but most importantly, I try to convey that this is a happy and easy lifestyle in which the sacrifices are only a minor point.
Favourite wild place: Dômes de Miage near the Mont Blanc and all summits surrounding Les Contamines-Montjoie or the Schöntalspitze in Tirol, AT.
Favourite outdoor activity: Mountaineering and urban cycling.
Perfect day: When in the city: a long brunch followed by a walk along the river to a cosy beer garden. When in the mountains: challenging and rewarding hike (preferably including a summit or two), followed by a cold beer in the sun on the terrace of the refuge.
