How did you become involved with EOCA:
While celebrating Stanley’s 100th anniversary at the Outdoor show in Friedrichshafen, we were introduced to Catherine and Tanya. Their contagious passion for championing the conservation of nature and wild places truly resonated with our company values, so we became a proud EOCA member right away.
Number of years in the outdoor industry:
Although directly involved for the past 9 years in the outdoor industry, it’s been over 20 years that I have been part of organisations where I was involved in projects aiming to embrace reusability and to protect local communities and wild places for their habitat and recreation values.
What else do you promote to support conservation:
I am privileged to support helping to protect the planet as part of my daily job developing and commercialising long lasting reusable beverage and food ware. At STANLEY, a brand of PMI, we aim to leave this world better than we found it; for us it’s all about being good stewards of the environment, making better sustainable products, best-in-class manufacturing code of conduct and building stronger communities.
Favourite wild place:
Having just a favourite place is a very hard choice… being born in Spain, I am biased by the Mediterranean wetlands which are endangered vital ecosystems in Europe but I am also in love with the Swiss Alps or any National Park in the US.
