Trash Free Trails (TFT) is a community-focussed, non-profit organisation; a positive call to arms for riders, runners, and roamers alike. TFT exists to protect our trails and the wild places they take us, and they are starting with single use pollution (aka; Litter!).
This project is centred around TFT’s Community Hubs – at their simplest, a local business, organisation or community space that has been inspired by the TFT mission and wants to bring it to their own community. Hubs will reach out to people, or groups, who might not normally be able to, and/or inclined to, go on adventures involving trail cleans and the enjoyment of wild places. All single use pollution will be collected, counted, sorted, and reported for TFT’s State of Our Trails (SoOT) Report. The project aims to involve 800 people, clean 2,400kms of trails and wild places, removing approximately 12,000kgs of single use pollution.
