EOCA's recently launched a 5-year strategy which has climate action at its heart.  It also launched its current focus: Wild for Nature: EOCA's Landscape Legacy Project. This focus ensures that projects EOCA funds address the loss of biodiversity in landscapes around the world.

The companies involved will be raising funds in a number of ways. Please scroll down to read all the details as we receive them!  Some are hosting events on their own websites or at their headquarters, others are donating product via Outdoor Gear For Good. All are giving you the opportunity to buy some fantastic items, whilst at the same time, making a difference to our wonderful wild places! Come back to check for updates over the next month.

Outdoor Gear For Good (OG4G) is a not for profit, community interest company. OG4G sells outdoor items donated to it during events such as this, and at other times throughout the year via its Outdoor Gear For Good eBay shop, and its website, with 100% of profits coming to EOCA.   Check out the shop for great gear AND the opportunity to make a difference.   Please note that not all of the items will appear at the same time so please do keep re-visiting to see new items.

A huge thank you to all members and to Outdoor Gear For Good for supporting conservation in this way.

Monies raised through this initiative will be put towards EOCA’s conservation projects over the coming year. Some of the money may also be used to help cover EOCA’s core costs, if they are not covered through other funding streams, which indirectly supports the funding of the organisation’s conservation work.

To mark Earth Day 2023, The North Face, in partnership with EOCA, is supporting not-for-profit organisations across Europe to organise Clean Up Hikes. These hikes will take place in France, Italy, Germany, the UK and Switzerland with the aim of protecting our world’s wild places one piece of litter at a time. To find out how you can get involved, visit XXX and #SignUpToCleanUp.
For The North Face, exploration is oxygen. It shapes who they are, what they stand for and what they strive for. Because the path of discovery is also a path of progression, a way of seeing the world beyond the map and reimagining what each one of us can accomplish. Since 1966, The North Face has continually explored new ways to make a difference for each other and our planet.

The funding that EOCA and Original Buff, S.A. have given Ennerdale's Squirrel Woodlands has enabled us to make a massive step change in our conservation of red squirrels, allowing us to purchase equipment, employ local people and support the local community in extending native woodlands and helping keep red squirrels in the valley. The simple funding process has meant we can focus on doing real tangible stuff on the ground"
