The European OutDoor Conservation Association (EOCA) is celebrating several successes at ISPO this year. Eight new members were welcomed to the association, and over €8000 was raised for conservation during the 4 days of the show.
EOCA was delighted to welcome Kamik, CAMP, Kayland, Edelrid, and Rewoolution who all signed up during the tradeshow to join the increasing number of European outdoor companies working together to fund conservation in the great outdoors. The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) signed up as EOCA set off for the show, and as the dust settled following the show, Ternua and Peoplework also signed up for membership. Managing Director at the retail trainer Don Gladstone said ‘the Association has a proven record in effectively delivering excellent support to NGO’s and environmental organisations and Paperwork is proud to be able to support these bodies through EOCA.’ Eddy Codega from CAMP, which has just celebrated its 125th year of trading added ‘We are delighted to be able to fund the conservation of spaces our customers visit through our membership of EOCA. By working with like-minded companies, we can make a real difference to threatened wild areas’.
