Following a snowy, but extremely busy ISPO, the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) is delighted to announce the raising of over €6,500 during the show to support projects in 2012.
With the sale on its stand of bicycle-powered healthy breakfast smoothies, sponsored by Nikwax, as well as the sale of goody bags, with which participants could pick up a whole host of exciting items from EOCA members’ stands, €5,200 was raised. A further €1,400 was generously donated to the association by the ISPO trade fair itself – raising the money through donations for drinks and snacks at the Snow Ice & Rock Summit during the 4 days of the show. Commenting, Markus Hefter, Show Director of ISPO said, “We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the exhibitors and visitors alike, and are delighted to be able to give such a significant donation.” Buoyed by the success of the donations ISPO has vowed to raise even more in 2013!
